Venus
Venus is a terrestrial planet, like Earth, but lies closer to the sun.
This makes Venus considerably warmer, contributing to the runaway greenhouse
effect. Observations using radar allow us to peer through the thick clouds of
sulfuric acid that envelop the planet.
